Joe Romano
Owner and Founder of MoJoe’s Gym and the MoJoe’s Method
Hi, my name is Joe Romano. I’ve been a trainer for 20+ years, started working at a corporate level and then created MoJoe’s Gym. I started MoJoe’s to make a safe, fun community environment, where people are trained as individuals and not treated as numbers. I also wanted to give trainers a place where they can grow, practice their craft, and enjoy the work that they do. I love spending time with my wife and two kids, doing pretty much anything they want to do. I coach Little League sports, and love doing any activity that lets me teach and help others.
Nick Tufano
General Manager
Hello, my name is Nicholas Tufano and I’ve been a personal trainer for 11 years. I really enjoy training my clients. One of the best parts of my job is creating the relationships I have with all my clients and seeing them feel great about themselves when they see all of their hard work paying off. My hobbies include working out, playing baseball, wrestling and spending time with my family and friends. I became a personal trainer because when I was younger, I had a tough time dealing with my weight. As I started to work out, I started to enjoy it and liked how it made my mind and body feel. I try to educate my clients and push them as I pushed myself.
David Wojciechowski
My name is Dave and I’ve been a personal trainer since 2015. I love watching basketball and football (my teams are the Celtics and Giants), playing video games, and working out especially on my biceps. My mom is my inspiration because my whole life, she’s told me to always give my best, work hard, and never give up no matter what.
I became a personal trainer because I love working out and helping others. I figured I would combine the two to help others achieve their goals. There’s nothing better than seeing others succeed.
Jason Gomez
I’m Jason and I’m a personal trainer at MoJoe’s. My hobbies include cycling, cooking, and hiking. Exercise had changed my life, and I became a personal trainer because I want to help others do that too through exercise. What inspires me is making progress and also seeing others make progress and succeed.
Nick Benincasa
Hi everyone! My hobbies include anything that is physically or mentally challenging. I love, and will recreationally participate in almost any sport and exercise (of course), and will lose a million times over if I have to do so in order to get better at something. I also like to participate in some more outdoor-related activities such as walking, hiking and biking. My nerdier half enjoys card games, board games, puzzles and chess.
What inspires me most and continues to inspire me are all of the clients I see here at MoJoe’s and all the patients I see at school as a student. Nothing makes me happier than a person’s willingness to improve and create the best version of themselves. I am humbled that each and every one of you trust in me to guide you through that.
I became a personal trainer when I was 20. Before college, I was severely overweight, and started exercising with little knowledge. Everything I know was self-taught through research, videos, and podcasts. By investing my time in that, I became educated enough to help myself and eventually fell in love with the mechanics of the body. In helping myself, I believed I could help others with the same goals, and this is what led to me becoming a personal trainer and future Chiropractor.
Juliana Santos
My name is Juliana Santos and I’m a personal trainer at MoJoe’s. Some of my hobbies and interests are reading, being in nature, cooking, gardening, and movement. I became a personal trainer because helping someone step into their best physical version translates on a mental and spiritual level. Empowering someone to be their best is the most fulfilling feeling.
A quote that inspires me every day: “There is power in understanding that pain is part of the process, failing is a part of the journey. Choosing the easy road does not lead to growth, it leads to mediocrity. It’s not about avoiding the struggle, it’s about developing the ability to thrive in it.”
Christina Sinatra
Having spent 9 years in the fitness industry, my reasons for wanting to become a personal trainer have remained the same since day one. Help people feel better. Fitness and health is so much more than looking or eating a certain way. My only goal as a personal trainer is to guide people toward living a more efficient, sustainable lifestyle. Helping my clients gain not only physical strength, but confidence in their everyday lives is what keeps me motivated. My career is my hobby! When I’m not in the gym with clients, you can find me hiking, cooking, and spending time with my family.
Taylor Maus
Hi, my name is Taylor and I’ve been a personal trainer for 5 years. My hobbies include hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and camping. I’m honestly really inspired by mountains. The thought of there always being more mountains to summit pushes me to push through and be the best version of myself. And my dog, I always aspire to be the person he thinks I am.
Working out has always helped me with my mental health issues, no matter how severe they are, it’s always been a help for me. When I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life I thought that maybe by doing something I was passionate about that has helped me get through tough times, I could inspire others with the same. So, I decided to go to school for personal training and have been loving it ever since.
Chris Warren
My name is Chris and I’m a trainer at MoJoe’s. My hobbies and interests include, but are not limited to: golf, watching sports, video games, and cooking. No one thing inspires me. I get motivated and inspired by all of the positive people I choose to surround myself with.
Knowing that I am making a difference in someone’s life and seeing them progress is why I do what I do and why I love doing it.
Mario Kiaunis

Having supportive, hardworking people in my life helps me strive to be my best self. I became a personal trainer simply to make people happy and feel good about themselves. Nothing is better than helping someone reach a goal or get out of pain!
